In the era of rapid changes and diverse cultures, a context of innovation has been established, thanks to the integration of cultures, arts, and technologies from different countries and regions. The medium of material would also be extended and developed with the participation of multimedia technology. The combination of ceramics and videos, digital technology and music represents a new way of understanding, recording and expression.Their cultural space, time dimensions and ways of expression have become more abundant and broader in the interaction between humans and clay.
As an indispensable parallel activity of the 2021 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale, Everything & Growing International Ceramic Film Screening is now calling for films featuring ceramics around the world.
Submission Requirements:
I. Categories: Documentary, Experimental video, Feature film and
Animated film.
II. Themes: The themes deal with the relationship between ceramics and humanity, ceramics and society, ceramics and history, ceramics and ecology and ceramics and technology.
III. Film Technical Specifications:
（I）Screening standard: PAL type high definition (HD) video with an aspect ratio of 16:9, and resolution of 1280×720 or 1920×1080; standard definition (SD) video with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and resolution of 960×540 or an aspect ratio of 4:3 and resolution of 720×576, and two-channel stereo sound.
（II）Mp4 h.264 file with subtitles
（III）Film duration: 3-30 minutes.
（IV）Each film should be accompanied by a 59.4×84 cm poster at 150 dpi
(V) Submission deadline: 30th October, 2021.
IV. Awards
The jury will select 10 outstanding films, and the filmmaker of each will be awarded 10,000RMB.
